An MV Power Cable, or Medium Voltage Power Cable, is a critical component in modern electrical distribution systems. Depending on the application, the cable may also include an inner sheath, armor, and an outer jacket for mechanical protection, moisture resistance, and environmental durability.MV power cables are widely used in underground power transmission, substations, renewable energy projects, mining operations, transportation systems, and large manufacturing plants. Their installation may be carried out in ducts, trays, direct burial, or submarine routes depending on project requirements. Because they are often deployed in harsh conditions, these cables must meet strict standards for fire resistance, moisture protection, UV resistance, chemical resistance, and mechanical strength.One major advantage of MV power cables is their ability to deliver power efficiently over medium distances with reduced losses.
